The chief villain in the Doctor Who story which gives the company its name is The Kandy Man, a sinister figure made entirely of giant sweets and bearing an uncanny resemblance to a certain Bertie Bassett… In honour of The Kandy Man, we have named our individual support schemes after some of our favourite childhood sweets! Could there be a more delicious way to show your support?
There are nine suggested levels at which to give:
The first level of support is the most important of all! Here’s what you can do:
- Join our mailing list so that we can keep you informed of all our latest news and developments. To join, simply fill out the form in the bottom right-hand corner of this website;
- Next, encourage your friends and loved ones to join the mailing list too!;
- Subscribe to our RSS feed. If you’re not sure what this is, click here.
- Bring two friends who have never seen The Happiness Patrol to our next production;
- If you’re on Facebook, join our Facebook Group;
- If you’re a Twitterer, follow us on Twitter;
- Use the ‘Share The Happiness’ links that are scattered liberally throughout this site to share our content with your favourite social networks;
- If you have your own website, blog, Facebook profile, Twitter account, Myspace page or any other corner of the internet you can call your own, proudly display a ‘I ♥ Happiness Patrol’ badge. You can learn how here.
For a suggested donation of £25 or more, you will receive:
- Advance mailing and priority booking (subject to availability);
- Regular information about The Happiness Patrol’s news and events;
- Invitations to exclusive Supporters’ evenings;
- Ticket offers (subject to availability).
For a suggested donation of £50 or more, you will receive all of the benefits of Black Jacks. In addition, you will be offered:
- Accreditation in The Happiness Patrol’s programmes and on our website.
For a suggested donation of £100 or more, you will receive all the benefits of Coconut Mushrooms. In addition, you will be offered:
- Personalised booking service through the Development Office.
For a suggested donation of £250 or more, you will receive all the benefits of Dolly Mixtures. In addition, you will be offered:
- Regular press release mailings to include latest casting updates;
- Invitations to annual Directors’ Circle reception.
For a suggested donation of £500 or more, you will receive all the benefits of Everton Mints. In addition you will be offered:
- Invitations to selected Press Nights;
- Invitation to annual Patrons’ lunch with The Happiness Patrol’s Artistic Director;
- Opportunity to book house seats when a production is officially sold-out (subject to availability).
For a suggested donation of £1000 or more, you will receive all the benefits of Flying Saucers. In addition, you will be offered:
- Acknowledgement on the Sponsors’ Board which travels to each venue on tour;
- Private backstage tour of venues (subject to availability).
For a suggested donation of £1500 or more, you will receive all the benefits of Gobstoppers. In addition, you will be offered:
- Invitations to selected dress or technical rehearsals;
- Published scripts signed by the cast or creative teams (subject to availability);
Iced Gems | £2000+ per annum
This is a unique opportunity for a small team of individuals to become closely involved at the heart of the company. Iced Gems supporters play a central and active role in enabling The Happiness Patrol to raise its profile and to consolidate its reputation for excellence.
